Protests continue

IMPHAL, May 21: Protests against Kuki narco-terrorism continued across valley districts today.
Organised under the aegis of the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), demonstrations were held at Tangkham in Imphal East, Konthoujam in Imphal West, and Thinungei in Bishnupur.
The protesters raised several common demands, including an end to what they described as the proxy war of the Government of India, a halt to policies they claimed threaten the indigenous people, and answers to seven specific questions previously submitted by COCOMI to the Government.
