IMPHAL, May 21 : Puthiba Kangkhut of Khundrakpam AC beat LSK-A Kangkhut of Wangoi AC by 18-13 panjal today in the Group B opening match of the 26th edition of the Arambam Samarendra Singh Ningshing Kumon League Cum Knock-out Kendrawise Kang Tournament-2026 being held at Shamurailatpam Gourachandra Sharma Mandap, Hiyanglam Wabagai.
Puthiba Kangkhut led the first half 8-6 before securing 10 more points against LSK-A’s 7 to walk away 18-13 winners today in the 12-team tournament organised by Literary and Sporting Organisation (LISPO), Hiyanglam Wabagai under the aegis of the Manipur Kang Association.
KLASA Kangkhut of Oinam AC defeated Dhrubatara Kangkhut of Wabagai AC yesterday in the opening match of the league cum knock-out tournament by 18-11 panjil.
KKCO Kangkhut, Keishamthong AC will play Bhagabati Kangkhut, Wabagai AC in the Group D opening match tomorrow.
