THAU, AKSDO victorious in 5th Sr Women’s One Day Trophy

IMPHAL, May 22 : THAU, Thangmeiband and AKSDO, Khangabok extended their winning run to 2 games in the ongoing 5th MNCA Senior Women’s One Day Trophy 2025-26.
THAU registered a 59-run over FORCE, Kshetrigao via DLS method in a rain affected match to stretch their Group A winning run.
Opting to bat first at Kongba Dhobi Lampak, THAU raised a respectable total of 206/6 runs riding on half century knocks from K Nonibala (51 not out off 72 balls) and M Creety (50 off 73 balls) before rain stopped the FORCE’s chase at 63/5 after 16.2 overs.
The match was reduced to 16.2 overs and the target was revised at 123. Eventually THAU emerged victorious by 59 runs.
Elsewhere at THAU ground, AKSDO raised 199/9 in 35 overs before bowling out TCMDC for 107 runs in 30.5 overs to register their second Group B win.
