Drugs seized

IMPHAL, May 22: Security forces arrested an individual with a large quantity of contraband drugs from Suangdoh village under Singhat Police Station in Churachandpur today.
The arrested person has been identified as Siamkhansuan Simte (44), a resident of Gouchinkhup Veng, Churachandpur.
Authorities seized 33 soap cases of suspected brown sugar and 40,000 WY tablets, weighing approximately 3.8 kg.
The drugs were found while being transported in a Maruti Ignis with a Mizoram registration number.
