Attacks on Meitei, Naga will be repeated: CJFD

IMPHAL, May 23: The Campaign for Just and Fair Delimitation (CJFD) has categorically stated that attacks on Meitei and Naga communities will be repeated again and again if illegal immigrants are not identified and deported before it is too late.
A public consultation programme on the Government’s preparation to start census operations from August 16 this year and how the people should thwart it was held today at the premises of Ima Tampha Lairembi, Wangoo under the aegis of CJFD, Wangoo Ahallup Laipham Club, local Meira Paibis, Arambai Tenggol Unit 12 and Arambai Tenggol Unit 61. Speaking at the public consultation programme, CJFD convenor Jeetendra Ningomba reiterated that the Government must identify and deport illegal immigrants for the sake of future generations. He said that people will boycott any census operation carried out before identifying illegal immigrants.
