ASKDO crush YPHUC by 225 runs in Women’s Senior One Day Trophy

IMPHAL, May 24 : AKSDO, Khangabok prevailed over YPHUC, Lalambung by 225 runs for the third straight Group B win in the ongoing 5th MNCA Women’s Senior One Day Trophy at THAU ground.
Asked to bat first, AKSDO raised a commanding total of 318 runs for 4 wickets courtesy of half century knocks from Taniya Ningthoujam (94 off 71 balls; 17 fours); Bijiya Khundrakpam (90 off 82 balls; 12 fours), and Langlen Ningthoujam (58 not out off 31 balls) before bowlers dismantled YPHUC for 93 runs in 28.5 overs.
Usham Saliza picked three wickets (3/54) for YPHUC in the first innings before Wangthoibi Nongthombam 26 not out off 65 balls led the scoring for YPHUC in a lost cause with Alish Thokchom (3/24), Rabina Khundrakpam (2/27), Henthoisana Takhellambam (2/8) and Lucyrani Khundrakpam (2/4) shared 9 wickets for AKSDO.
Bijiya Khundrakpam was adjudged player of the match.
