65th CC Meet SDC beat YOSC 2-1 as RAU hold FC Kumbi

IMPHAL, May 24 : Social Development Club (SDC), Samurou beat Youth Organisation Sporting Club (YOSC), Khurai by 2-1 goals as Rising Athletic Union (RAU), Lairikyengbam Leikai held Football Club Kumbi (FC Kumbi) to a 2-2 draw in today’s Group G matches of the ongoing 65th CC Meet 2025-26.
SDC sealed all three points against their Khurai rivals courtesy of first half goals from Naorem Lanchenba (13’) and Kishan Naorem (34’).
The lone goal for YOSC was scored by Worchuipei Kashung in the 78th minute.
Earlier in the day, RAU fought back twice to salvage the 2-2 draw with FC Kumbi.
FC Kumbi found the lead in the 15th minute through Moirangthem Luhen before RAU rode on Lamjingba Nongthombam to draw level in the 44th minute.
Substitute Soram Malemnganba retained the lead for FC Kumbi in the 63rd minute but RAU fought back and pulled level again through substitute Wangkheimayum Alex in the 85th minute.
