Womenfolk demand release of 6 Naga hostages

IMPHAL, May 24: Womenfolk of Keishamthong Kabui Khul have warned of   dire consequences if the six Naga civilians being held hostage by Kuki narco-terrorists are found dead.
Demanding the Government to take up immediate concrete measures to secure safe release of the hostages, Meira Paibis of Keisham-thong Kabui Khul Women Society staged a protest demonstration today.
Speaking to media persons, Keishamthong Kabui Women Society Meira Paibi secretary Pamei Kachom-lunglu said that the State Government must take up concrete actions to secure safe release of the six Naga civilians taken hostage by Kuki narco-terrorists on May 13.
Appealing to all concerned to release the six Naga civilians on humanitarian ground, she warned there will be very ugly reactions in the line of “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth”, if the six Naga civilians are found dead.
