Kakching Hr Sec School students to intensify agitation

KAKCHING, May 24: With no positive response reportedly received from the Government regarding the transfer issue at Kakching Higher Secondary School, the Students’ Union of the school has announced that it will intensify its agitation indefinitely starting from May 25.
In a release, the Students’ Union stated that despite repeated appeals and protests, no concrete assurance or response has been received from the concerned authorities so far. In view of the alleged inaction, the union resolved to strengthen its agitation until their demands are addressed.
It may be noted that the students have been demanding the revocation of the principal of the school and had already launched a series of protests beginning May 22. As part of the agitation, students have been boycotting classes and enforcing the closure of the school’s administrative block.
