Bamboo craft workshop held

NONEY, May 24: A five-day workshop on Bamboo and Crafts for craftsmen and artisans was successfully organised at Taolingpung Community Hall under Khoupum Sub-Division in Noney district from May 11 to 15, 2026.
The workshop was organised by the Namkaolong Pt-II (Taolingpung) Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd under the sponsorship of the North Eastern Council with the objective of promoting conservation and sustainable use of bamboo resources while enhancing rural livelihood opportunities in the region. Around 70 craftsmen and artisans from different areas took part in the workshop.
