Mema Memorial Veteran T20 Cricket BSC-B beat YPHU-W by 7 wickets to end 2-game losing run

IMPHAL, May 27 : BSC-B, Brahmapur Laljilakpa Leikai defeated YPHU-W, Lalambung by 7 wickets to end their 2-game Group D losing run in the ongoing 3rd Khomdram Ongbi Hijam Mema Devi Memorial T20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026.
Desperate to turn their fortunes around, BSC-B opted to field first and successfully restricted YPHU-W to 101/8. In response, Romesh (54 off 43 balls) and Eigya (33 off 61 balls) anchored the innings with a solid foundation, comfortably guiding BSC-B to victory at 104/3 in 18.1 overs.
Earlier in the first innings, Dularva (19), Laingam (18), and Bikram (12) were the main contributors for YPHU-W. BSC-B's bowling attack was led by Vedeshore, who dismantled the opposition with figures of 3/17, while three other bowlers claimed a wicket apiece. Despite the defeat, Dhurva (2/2) was the pick of the bowlers for YPHU-W in a losing cause.
YPHU-N earned a walkover win later in the day against SHADOW, Thangmeiband.
