Hosts NCC to lock horns with RFA in U-17 Boys’ Ekta Cup final

IMPHAL, May 27 : Hosts, NCC Imphal Group will lock horns with Real Football Academy (RFA), Top Siphai in the title clash of the NCC Ekta Cup for U-17 Boys 2026.
NCC progressed into the final with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sagolband United FA (SUFA) in the first semi-final match staged this morning at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
NCC found the lead early in the 4th minute as M Raju made the most of a chance before W Nepolian (67’) and W Mukaram (82’) took their turns to complete the 3-0 rout of SUFA.
Later in the second semi-final match, RFA fought from a goal down and earned a 2-1 win thanks to a double from A Achouba.
KIYC FA broke the deadlock in the 47th minute but A Achouba scored the equaliser in the 70th minute before converting a penalty in the 79th minute to seal the 2-1 win.
The final match is slated for May 29.
