Chandel Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament St Peter’s HSS claim both U-17 boys and girls’ crowns, St Paul’s HSS seal U-15 boys’ title

IMPHAL, May 30 : St Peter’s HSS registered both the U-17 boys and girls’ crowns in the Chandel District Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament as St Paull’s  HSS sealed the U-15 boys’ title.
The tournament was hosted by the District Youth Affairs and Sports Office, Chandel at District Sports Complex, Chandel.
In the U-15 Boys’ title clash, ST Pual’s HSS beat St Peter’s HSS 5-3 via penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 regulation time draw.
Meanwhile in the U-17 boys’ final, St Peter’s HSS beat St Paul’s HSS 1-0 courtesy of St Angkham’s 57th minute strike to seal the top honour.
St Peter’s HSS also claimed the U-17 girls’ title as they thumped KTS 2-0 with goals coming from Monica (33’) and Alfina (40’).
