Highway repaired

IMPHAL, May 31: The section of NH-202 (Imphal- Ukhrul road) which was dug up by Kuki miscreants using heavy machinery in the intervening night of May 29 and May 30 has been repaired.
The highway section was dug up apparently to make the Kuki Inpi Manipur’s economic blockade more effective and prevent transportation of essential co- mmodities from Imphal to Ukhrul. The dug up section was repaired today amid tight security arrangements.
