The prestigious festival is scheduled to be held in Mumbai from June 15 to 21, 2026.
Directed by Borun Thokchom, Battlefield will compete alongside documentary films from across the globe in the feature-length documentary category.
Produced by Manjoy Lourembam, Dr Radhesyam Oinam, and Viswamithra Universals, the documentary’s selection marks a significant achievement for Manipuri cinema on the international stage.
“This is a proud moment not only for the film but also for the State and the entire film fraternity of Manipur,” Borun Thokchom said.
