5th MNCA Women’s Senior One Day Trophy PTCC beat SHADOW by 6 wickets to set up final date with THAU

IMPHAL, Jun 10 : PTCC, Patsoi notched up a 6-wicket win over SHADOW, Thangmeiband to set up the final date with THAU, Thangmeiband in the 5th MNCA Women’s Senior One Day Trophy.
Opting to bat first here at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, SHADOW posted a modest total of 166/3 in 35 overs and PTCC chased down the target in 26.1 overs with 6 wickets to spare.
Viviene Laishram shone with the bat for SHADOW today as she scored a slow but significant 73 off 39 balls. She made 61 runs for the second wicket with Kebriya Sapam (29 off 29 balls) and added another 78 runs for the third wicket with Thoudam Mangalsana, who remained unbeaten on 33 off 29 balls at the close of the innings.
RK Linthoi picked two wickets (2/25) as Ranjita claimed one (1/19) for PTCC in this innings.
Chasing 167 for the win, Ranjita quickfired 88 off 56 balls laden with 12 fours and 3 sixes to set the momentum of a successful chase. Ranjit and L Prena (21 off 23 balls) gave the team a positive start by forging 43 runs for the first wicket before adding 81 runs with L Linthoingambi (25 off 41 balls) for the second wicket.
Linthoi also managed 14 off 18 balls for PTCC team before  Laishram Teresa 9 not out off 13 balls and Kiranbala Palujam 2 not out off 7 balls finished off the chase in the 1st delivery of the 27th over.
The final is slated for June 14 at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
