NAPSA beat RNEF by 6 runs via DLS method

IMPHAL, Jun 11 : NAPSA defeated RNEF by 6 runs via DLS method this afternoon for their third Group B win in the ongoing 3rd Khomdram Ongbi Hijam Mema Devi Memorial T-20 Manipur Cricket Tournament.
In the crucial Group B match, RNEF posted 108 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs before rain intervened the NAPSA chase at 58 for 4 wickets in 9 overs.
Applying the VJD method, NAPSA emerged victorious by 6 runs.
Raju topscored for RNEF with 42 runs off 31 balls followed by Jagu who scored 23 runs off 21 balls as NAPSA chose to field first.
Bhogendra picked two wickets (2/19) for NAPSA as five others claimed a wicket apiece before Rishikanta made 25 off 27 balls and Ibobi remained unbeaten on 18 off 19 balls in the chase.
