YWC, AMCA script third wins in U-19 Men’s One Day Trophy

IMPHAL, Jun 12 : YWC, Langthabal beat THAU by 7 wickets for the third straight Group C win in the 4th MNCA U-19 Men’s One Day Trophy as AMCA, Thoubal beat KCC, Kongba Bazar by 4 wickets for the third Group E victory.
At Model Hr Secondary School and Oriental College ground, YWC bowled out toss winners YWC for 44 runs in 19.3 overs riding on Yumnam Athouba (3/8 in 5 overs), Pukhrambam Roshan (3/9 in 4.3 overs) and Seram Tondonsana (2/2 in 3 overs). The target was revised to 41 in 32 overs via VJD/other method due to rain and YWC cruised to the target in just 7.5 overs with 7 wickets left to spare. L Ganguly, on 19, was the only double digit run getter for THAU in the first innings before Y Kumar and S Tondonsana scored 14 runs apiece to help YWC seal the victory with ease.
At Moijing Public Ground, AMCA bundled out toss winners KCC for 102 runs in 22.5 overs and fought their way to the winning 106/6 in 25.1 overs. It was their third Group E win in four matches.
Elsewhere at Khudeiband Lampak, KASC beat PTCC by 4 wickets via VJD/ other method for their first win.
