Tbl Subroto Mukerjee Cup AG Memorial Academy seal both U-17 and U-15 Boys’ titles

Thoubal, Jun 13 : The 65th edition of the Thoubal District Level Inter School Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament 2026 organised by the District Youth Affairs and Sports Office Thoubal at Kodompokpi Sports Complex came to a close today.
AG Memorial School, Charangpat emerged as winners of both the U-17 and U-15 boys’ competitions and they will represent the district at the State level tournament.
 AG Memorial Academy Charangpat racked up 10 points from 4 matches to emerge the 5-team competition organised in the round robin format.
Royal Academy Wangjing, meanwhile finished runners up on 7 points to finish runners up.
In the 4-team U-15 boys’ competition, AG Memorial Academy, Charangpat registered three of three wins to amass 9 points and seal the district title as Tekcham High School registered two wins to finish runners up. The closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by State Finance Officer of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mangsatabam Nabakumar Singh; DYASO Thoubal Deven Moirangthem and the treasurer of District Olympic Association-Thoubal Okram Budhi Singh as dignitaries who also led in felicitating the the meritorious teams and the standout players.
