Meetei Mayek competition on Aug 2

IMPHAL, Jun 16 : Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillon Apunba Lup (Meelal), Kangleipak, will hold its 20th annual Meetei Mayek Competition on August 2, 2026, across six valley districts, including Jiribam.
Forms priced at Rs 150 will be available from June 11 at MEELAL office and schools.
Students from Class 1 to 10 will compete in ten categories.
Last date for forms is July 20. Results will be declared on August 18, MEELAL Foundation Day.
The AMRPSWA is supporting the event to ensure wider participation.
Meelal urged the public not to call bandhs or blockades on exam day.
