DIMAPUR, Jun 17 : The NSCN (IM) has restricted the outbound movement of all commodities, including petroleum products and their derivatives, towards Myan-mar with immediate effect. “Due to some serious and compelling reasons, the NSCN (IM) has informed the general public today that, pursuant to order number 06/GPRN/NA/ORD-40/YO/26 dated June 15, 2026, issued by the Yaruiwo (Chairman of the NSCN/GPRN) titled ‘Strict monitoring along so-called (artificial) Indo-Myanmar border’, the outbound movement of all commodities, including petroleum products and their derivatives towards Myanmar, is hereby restricted with immediate effect,” the outfit stated. It further said that the order empowers the ‘Naga Army’ to monitor the situation and maintain strict round-the-clock surveillance along the entire stretch of the “artificial Indo-Myanmar border” until further orders.
