PMVBRY incentive disbursement on June 19

IMPHAL, Jun 17 : A State-level disbursement programme of incentives under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) will be held on June 19, 2026, at NEILIT, Akampat, Imphal.
This was announced today at a press conference organised by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, Manipur.
Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla will attend as chief guest. Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh will preside over the function, while Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam will be the guest of honour.
The programme is being organised by EPFO, Regional Office, Imphal, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, to formally disburse incentives to eligible first-time employees and employers registered under the scheme in the State.
PMVBRY, with a total outlay of Rs 99,446 crore, aims to incentivise additional formal-sector employment and target the creation of 3.5 crore jobs nationwide. Registration commenced on August 1, 2025 and will continue till July 31, 2027.
Officials and beneficiaries from across Manipur are expected to attend.
