3 freed women hostages admitted to JNIMS

IMPHAL, Jun 18 : Three women who were taken hostage by Kuki militants and freed two days later have been admitted to JNIMS Hospital.
The three women from Konsakhul were among the 12 women who were abducted from Leilon Vaiphei village on May 13 and held hostage for two days before they were freed.
Following their release from captivity, the women have been staying at the Makhan village relief camp.
The three women identified as Pawongbolui Thiumai (38), Dingamlui Abonmai (47) and Th Widimlui (64) were brought to JNIMS Hospital at around 4.30 pm today following complaints of stomach pain,
respiratory problems and other medical problems.
They are currently undergoing treatment at Psychiatric and Medicine Departments  of JNIMS, sources said.
