IMPHAL, Jun 1: Polling for election of a new Rajya Sabha Member from the State will be held on June 18 between 9 am and 4 pm at the banquet hall of Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretariat in case the election is contested.
The Assembly elects the Rajya Sabha MP
Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretary and Returning Officer Rohit Sapam issued a notification to this effect today.
The same notification said that candidates or their proposers may submit nomination papers to the Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer L Dhanashyam Singh between 11 am and 3 pm on or before June 8.
Scrutiny of the nomination papers will be done at 11 am on June 9.
Nomination papers may be withdrawn by 3 pm of June 11.
