Three arrested

IMPHAL, Jun 19: Security forces rescued a juvenile and arrested three including two cadres of RPF/PLA in separate operations yesterday.
The three arrested have been identified as Sarangthem Jayenta Meetei alias Bicky alias Wanglen (48), self styled Lt Col (Director In-Charge Intelligence) of RPF/PLA, RK Solomon Singh alias Amon (51), cadre of RPF/PLA and Thangmeishang Kasar (32).
Sarangthem Jayenta Meetei hails from Hiyangthang Maning Awang Leikai, Imphal West. He was arrested from Kongba Bazar, Imphal East, said police.
RK Solomon hails from Thangmeiband Lourungpurel Leikai, Imphal West. He was arrested along with his associate, Thangmeishang Kasar, a resident of Phange village, Kamjong. The two were attempting to recruit the juvenile who was rescued, said the police.
