Senapati FSD among FCI's best performing depots

IMPHAL, Jun 19: The Senapati Food Storage Depot (FSD) of the Food Corporation of India (FCI), Manipur Region has been designated as one of the best depots in India based on Depot Darpan Rankings.
The FSD Senapati was given the recognition during a special award ceremony at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on June 18.
Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Pralhad Joshi, feted the Manipur team.
K Sathya Kumar, DGM(R) and Adani Mahrili Mao, Divisional Manager, Imphal attended the event.
The recognition highlights FSD Senapati's exceptional performance in operational efficiency, service standards, safety, and overall depot management.
"This National-level honour is a testament to the dedication, discipline, and collective efforts of the entire staff of the depot, Divisional Office (DO), and Regional Office (RO) under FCI Manipur Region. Their consistent hard work and commitment to excellence have brought this distinction to the State," said K Sathya Kumar, DGM(R) in a statement. The Depot Darpan recognition has further strengthened FSD Senapati's position as a model depot and reinforced FCI Manipur Region's resolve to uphold the highest standards in foodgrains management and public service delivery, he said.
"We are committed to maintaining high standards and achieving even greater milestones in the future," Sathya Kumar added.
Senior officials of the Ministry and FCI attended the event.
