One political prodigy has asked whether RSS is registered. Everyone in the country knows it is already registered in the minds of the people. You ask any citizen in the country whether they know RSS - most likely all of them will say ‘yes’ – rightly or wrongly. People are well aware of the existence of RSS since its political wing has grabbed power at the Centre. Now its political wing has become so huge and powerful that it often forgets its genesis.
Forget about the common masses in the country, the National Government registered its existence. The Government of India banned RSS twice – first during Nehru’s time when Gandhiji was assassinated by Nathuram and second at the time of Emergency (Indira’s time). Now, RSS has become more popular among the non-Hindus.
Perhaps the gentleman might have learnt from his father, a top leader of the country. If you want instant fame and name – just challenge the high and mighty. Taking the advice from his sapient political father is no problem. Just implementing the advice immediately after assuming office seems hasty. Now-a-days RSS is the biggest NGO (PM says it is world’s largest from the rampart of Lal Qila). But this NGO is unable to assert its position before the largest political party in the world.
Sometimes we feel sorry to see the mother who can’t say anything against her children. The mother feels that if she opens her mouth she may be kept inside her room – not to come out. Is there any child among the children who still loves his mother ? That boldest child will be the blessed one – mother shall bestow everything on him. Yes, she is 100 now and still working for the country. Unfortunately, some of her children have abandoned her. She doesn't mind, she rather feels great to see their greatness.
But one thing is clearly certain that when some children have problems they normally come back to their mother for her blessings. Few children have become so powerful and so mighty, they feel ashamed to come to their mother. If they are frightened by cockroaches – there will be none to fight the cockroaches. Only the committed children of the mother will come to their rescue.
If you are looking for a registered RSS – there is one . You may do all kinds of paperwork with them. The queries may be diverted to them. Again, there may be jurisdictional problems since the questioner belongs to Karnataka. But still, he may file an RTI and get the replies from the concerned neighboring State. All the questions will be answered.
Just to receive National limelight you have done this. That is okay but you see – the ramifications. Now unknowingly RSS is made more highlighted. It has inadvertently started a National debate. You have triggered the RSS ideologues to respond on the National TVs and in Newspapers. Ram Madav, Rakesh Sinha and many others have come out explaining the existence of RSS. Rather they are happy that a National debate has been initiated towards the concluding part of its centenary year.
One can learn more about RSS only when one joins it – or take part in its activities. Just asking some 7/8 questions will not serve the purpose. If someone really wants to know the art of running a country without being a part of the Government – it is a global research theme. They are not the Kings but they are the King-makers. If the King becomes a powerful Emperor – what can you do – that is again an issue to be pondered about.
Sarsangchchalak says no religion is registered. I do agree but there is one fundamental aspect about RSS. It is an unending movement for preserving the culture and character of the Nation. Bharat is already a World Guru – all the major religions originated from this land except two.
As far as my observation goes, RSS has a fund crunch every year – the ‘Guru Dakshina’ is not enough to run the branches and Sakhas. It is run only by donations and offerings. If you don’t believe – just join and experience it; anytime you may join and leave; there is no hard and fast rule. There is neither membership list nor admission fee . It is a National movement – joining and leaving is within personal volition.
I am a keen observer of this NGO for the last 20/25 years due to my friendship with some perpetual Pracharaks, ideologues and die-hard workers. Now most of them have become powerful people – they don’t even pick up my phone calls. So be it. Nobody would ask why the ‘Freedom Movement’ was not registered – RSS is an unending Nation-building movement - now their movement is for Vikshit Bharat. Any doubt!
Media is not taking much interest to highlight the long and arduous hundred year journey of the RSS. Young Minister of Karnataka has done a wonderful job. At this crucial year – when no one is seriously covering the RSS . This gentleman has ignited a National debate – what a centenary bonanza for the RSS.
