Prof Bal Raj Sehgal Memorial block inaugurated at Angaan Ching

Kakching, Jun 20: The Professor Bal Raj Sehgal Memorial Block at the Heritage Complex of Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching, was inaugurated and dedicated to the public on Saturday by Prof N Mohilal Meitei, Dean, School of Life Sciences, Manipur University. The inaugural function was attended by Surjit Kshetrimayum, secretary, ADAM Kakching and coordinator, Management Committee, Angaan Ching Eco Park; S Bhubol, secretary, BEENET Manipur; Biramangal Pukhrambam, Honorary Caretaker of Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching, and volunteers of ADAM. As part of the inauguration programme, Prof N Mohilal Meitei planted a sapling of Uningthou, the State tree of Manipur. The participants also planted several native plant species within the eco park premises.
