L Lanchenba wins bronze at Swimming Nationals

IMPHAL, Jun 21: Laitonjam Lanchenba won Manipur a bronze medal at the 79th Senior National Swimming Championship 2025 being underway at Ahmedabad under the auspices of the Swimming Federation of India.
Lanchenba finished third in 2:04.43 in the 200 m butterfly event to settle for the bronze medal.
SSCB’s Bikram (2:02.50) and Karnataka’s Darshan (2:03.00) made 1-2 finishes in this competition.
Lanchenba is the son of Laitonjam Kanta and Laitonjam Ongbi Takhellambam Sonia of Brahmapur Bheigyabati Leikai.
He reads in Class X at Nongpok Maheikol, Brahmapur Aribam Leikai.
