Nungshithoi settles for silver, Linthoi bags bronze at Junior European Judo Cup

IMPHAL, Jun 21: State judokas Leishangthem Nungshithoi and Linthoi Chanambam made India proud at the Junior European Judo Cup held in Berlin by securing a silver and a bronze medal apiece.
L Nungshithoi suffered a final defeat in the 52 kg category competition to settle for the silver medal. Nungshithoi hails from Mayang Imphal Arongbi. She is the daughter of Leishangthem Ibotombi and Leishangthem Ongbi Radharani Leima.
Former Cadet World Champion Linthoi Chanambam, on the other hand finished third in the 63 kg category competition to content with the bronze medal. She is the daughter of Chanambam Ibohal and Chanambam Ongbi Sanasam Guneshwori of Mayang Imphal Thana.
