JD(U) party leaders urged

IMPHAL, Jun 21 : Members of JD (U), Manipur have urged the party leadership to extend support in resolving the ongoing crisis in the State. A National Council meeting of JD (U) was held today in Patna. The meeting was attended by a team of the JD (U) Manipur unit led by its president Ksh Biren. During the meeting, the JD (U), Manipur highlighted the prevailing unrest in Manipur arising from the Meitei-Kuki and Naga-Kuki clashes. The party urged National leaders to intervene and take steps to restore normalcy in the State. They also expressed optimism that JD (U) would play a significant role in forming the next Government in Manipur.
