CoBRA's operation reaches Ebenezer camp

IMPHAL, Jun 23 : After massive search operations at Leilon Vaiphei village area in Kangpokpi, a large number of CRPF CoBRA commandos conducted operations in KNF-P Ebenezer camp in the district today, said multiple reliable reports.
Amid the operations, Kangpokpi residents staged protest demonstrations at the town.
Videos uploaded on social media platforms show several armoured vehicles of security forces rushing to the Ebenezer camp area to conduct search operations.
Another report, which this paper couldn't verify, said security forces attempted to enter the camp, triggering protests from locals and Kuki civil bodies.
KNF-P is a militant group under Suspension of Operations (SoO) agreement.
The group's chairman is Thangboi Haokip, the husband of Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen.
The group has been accused of abducting and killing six Naga civilians recently.
