Manipur Basketball Association to conduct Coaches’ Training Course from July 1

IMPHAL, Jun 23 : The Manipur Basketball Association is set to conduct a 21-day non residential Coaches’ Training Course from July 1 to 21.
Informing this in a press release, the Manipur Basketball Association urged all units/clubs and district associations to submit the names of five candidates to the technical chairman or the general secretary of the association latest by June 28.
Course Completion Certificate will be issued to the trainers and they will be eligible to become a coach of the particular unit/club or the district association in any tournament organised by the Manipur Basketball Association, it said.
Players who participated in the State Senior Tournament and National Junior or Senior Championship are eligible to participate in the training course. Registration fee is Rs 300, it added.
