State Sepaktakraw Championships conclude

IMPHAL, Jun 28 :  The 25th Mini, 27th Sub-Junior, 27th Junior, 40th Senior State Sepak Takraw Championships organised by the All Manipur Sepaktakraw Association (AMSTA) came to a close today at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium.
The closing ceremony was attended by M Veto, Director YAS; Waikhom Jiten, president AMSTA; M Debananda, Addl Advocate General as presidium members who also led in distributing prizes to the podium finishers of different events and age categories.
Notably, SAIRC-A emerged the senior men’s regu event winner beating SWC-B, Hiyanglam yesterday as SWC, Hiyanglam sealed the women’s regu event winner by beating SAIRC-A.
Senior men’s quadrant event gold meanwhile went to SAIRC who beat SWC, Hiyanglam in the final as PUC, Kairang sealed the senior women’s quadrant gold by defeating SAIRC in the title clash.
The mini boys’ regu event title went to YPA-B as HUDIC-B finished runners up while HUDIC-B sealed the mini girls’ crown by defeating SWC in the final.
Sub-Junior boys’ quadrant event crown meanwhile went to YAWA-A who beat SWC in the title clash as SWC-A sealed the sub-junior girls’ regu event title by beating HUDIC in the final showdown.
Sub-Junior Girls’ Quadrant event title meanwhile went to HUDIC who beat YAWA in the final as junior boys’ regu event title went to SWC-A by beating HUDIC in the title clash.
Junior Boys’ quadrant event gold meanwhile went to PUC-A as they beat IMSUC in the final as junior girls’ regu event title went to the same club by beating IMSUC.
PUC-A also sealed the junior girls’ quadrant event title by beating SAIRC in the final.
