Debate competition on June 8

IMPHAL, Jun 4 : NG College, Imphal, will host a State Level Debate Competition on June 8, 2026, at its campus on the motion: “Conducting Census after updating NRC 1951 will be the only way to resolve the issue of illegal immigrants in Kangleipak (Manipur)”.
Interested students may collect forms from the college office or download them at www.ngcollege.ac.in/news/state-level-debating-competition/.
Separately, the Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur, will hold the 26th Memorial Programme of playwright and social reformer Arambam Samarendra on June 10 at Nungshikol Park, Chana Khunou, Imphal East.
The event will include a poetry recitation session and floral tributes.
