Stage set for semi-finals of 38th State Level Mini Handball Tournament

IMPHAL, Jun 5 : The semi-final line up for both the boys and girls competition in the 38th State Level Mini Handball Tournament hosted by Indira Memorial Club, Thoubal Leishangthem have been completed today with the end of league round.
Pool A winners KVWA, Mayang Imphal will play Pool B runners up YLK, Chingarel Tejpur in the first semi-final for the boys before hosts and Pool B winners IMC play Pool A runners up CYDOL, Lilong Chajing in the second semi-final match.
In the Girls semi-finals, KVWA will play YLK and KKLYDO will play SSC.
Boys
CYDOL beat KKLYDO by 21-18 goals today in a Pool A match for boys to seal their place in the semis as pool runners up.
In the final Pool A match, SSC, Khurai thrashed KKLYDO by 26-19 goals but they failed to make it to the semis. In the final Pool B match, IMC played out a 26-26 draw with YLK to finish pool winners.
Girls
In a Pool A match of the girls’ competition, SSC, Khurai defeated OYO, Kongpal by 11-7 goals as YLK got the better of IMC by 10-7 goals in the final Pool B match.
