CM distributes meritorious awards

IMPHAL, Jun 7 : Chief Minister Yumnam Khem-chand Singh presented meritorious awards to students at Model Club, Singja- mei Chingamakha Community Hall, Imphal, today.
The awards were presented to students of academic session 2025-26 who successfully cleared Class X and XII examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM), and the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM).
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister stated that organising award functions to recognise and honour the efforts of students serves as a source of motivation, encouraging them to strive for greater success in their future endeavours.
Khemchad Singh encouraged the Model Club members to carry forward such programmes in the future. The programme was attended by students, parents, players and locals among others.
After attending the meritorious award function, the Chief Minister proceeded to Oinam Thingel, Singjamei, to inspect an ongoing river embankment construction work along the Oinam Thingel–Waikhom Leikai stretch on the bank of Imphal River.
