IMPHAL, Jun 7 : From paper leaks to price hikes, the State unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the BJP Government of tormenting the people and crushing the aspirations of students.
Addressing the media at the Manipur Press Club today, AAP Manipur co-ordinator Biswanath Thingnam said that the recent NEET paper leak has placed enormous mental pressure on students across the country, including 12,000 from Manipur who aspire to become medical practitioners.
Some students have died by suicide after the recent NEET exam was cancelled, he said adding that the BJP has failed to deliver justice to the aspirants.
Saying that the NEET re-examination will be held on June 21, he urged the Government to arrange free transportation for the candidates.

Claiming that petroleum prices have been rising since the BJP came to power in 2014, he added that petrol and diesel prices have increased three to four times recently.
He further alleged that the BJP Government has been working in the interests of big corporations at the expense of ordinary citizens.
Saying that India is now one of the most corrupt Nations, he added that the BJP will never be able to make India a developed Nation.
