IMPHAL, Jun 30:  More Naga organisations have resolved to intensify its inter-district blockade along the Imphal-Dimapur road.
The resolution was adopted during a meeting of United Naga Council (UNC) and other Naga organisations held in Senapati today.
The blockade has been in place since June 11 in protest against the killing of six Naga civilians, who were abducted from Leilon Vaiphei by Kuki groups as well as against the complete shutdown in Kuki areas imposed by the Kuki Inpi, Manipur.
The six Naga men were abducted from Leilon Vaiphei village on May 13 and their mutilated bodies were discovered on June 10.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, UNC president Ng Lorho claimed that the identities of those involved in the killings are known, but the Government has not arrested any of the killers so far.
He said the blockade would continue until justice is delivered.
Notably, Naga People’s Organisation (NPO), Tribe Hohos, Senapati District Women’s Association (SDWA), and the Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA) had also resolved to intensify their agitation against the killing of Naga hostages.
