IMPHAL, Jul 11 : THAU, Thangmeiband will lock horns with AKSDO, Khangabok for the title of the 1st Women’s U19 T20 Women’s Trophy 2025-26 on July 14 at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam.
THAU made it to the final with a 6-wicket semi-final win over FORCE, Kshetrigao at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium today.
THAU restricted toss winners FORCE to a paltry total of 63 runs for 7 wickets before easing to the target in 17 overs with 6 wickets to spare.
Sumeiya Shahni (18 off 28 balls) and Kh Rukshad (13 off 26 balls) gathered the highest 33 runs for the first wicket before Nazmin Khanam remained unbeaten on 12 off 15 balls to take FORCE to 63/7.
Rajkumari Valentina (2/6), Thokchom Purni (2/7) and Wangkhem Nganbi Chanu (2/9) shared 6 crucial wickets to break the momentum for FORCE today before Robeni Usham anchored with a slow but significant 23 off 53 balls to guide THAU to the target in 17 overs.
