3rd Manipur Yogasana C’ship 2026 from August 8 to 9

IMPHAL, Jul 11 : The Manipur Yoga Society is set to host the 3rd edition of the Manipur Yogasana Championship-2026 and the selection trial for the 38th National Yogasana Championship-2026 from August 8 to 9.
The prestigious State level championship that will be held at Waheng Leikai Community Hall will feature three major categories- Yoga Sport (Traditional), Rhythmic Single/Pair, and Artistic Pair, said the Manipur Yoga Society in a press release.
The event serves as the primary gateway for local Yoga athletes to represent Manipur at the 38th National Yogasana Championship organised under the All India Yoga Culture Federation from October 1 to 4 at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium, Imphal, it said. Furthermore the National championship will act as the official selection trial for the 12th World Yogasana Championship 2027 to be hosted by Thailand, it said. Competition registration forms can be had from Youth Hostel, Khuman Lampak; Flash Mandop, Waheng Leikai (near Bheigo Hotel) and all recognised Yoga Centres across Manipur. The last date of registration form submission is July 31, it said.
