IMPHAL, Jul 12: AICC Research and Monitoring in-charge Amitbah Dubey has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must answer to the many questions raised by the people regarding the theft of money donated by devotees from Ram Mandir, Ayodhya. Speaking to media persons at Congress Bhavan, here this afternoon, Amitabh said that the PM’s Office has taken control of all the management of Ram Mandir, but Modi has gone silent after several lakhs donated by devotees to the temple were stolen last month. From laying foundation stones to construction and inauguration of the temple, Modi did not allow participation of any one including the President except billionaires, movie stars, super-rich and powerful men. Even though a huge amount has been stolen from the temple, no FIR has been registered till date, Dubey said. He demanded registration of an FIR and an enquiry by an independent judicial enquiry committee monitored by the Supreme Court. He said that the Ram Janma Bhoomi should be handed over to a credible body.
