COCOMI backs UNC’s blockade

IMPHAL, Jul 13: COCOMI has decided to support the ongoing United Naga Council’s (UNC) inter-district economic blockade with effect from today.
All sections of people have been suffering untold misery since May 3, 2023.
Amidst this untold suffering, six Naga civilians were abducted, tortured and murdered in the most barbaric manner, said COCOMI.
Again, when the people had been protesting demanding justice for the six Naga civilians, six Meitei houses were set ablaze at Kanto Sabal. It's time to teach the Kuki narco-terrorists a lesson, the COCOMI said in a press release.
Pledging support to the UNC’s inter-district economic blockade, the committee has appealed to all sections of people to support the UNC’s blockade.
