Arms seized at CCpur

IMPHAL, Jul 14 : Security forces recovered a large assortment of arms, ammunition and explosives from Churachandpur district today.
According to a police bulletin, the weapons were recovered from K Thenjang Village and Gothol Village in Churachandpur.
From K Thenjang, one AK rifle with a magazine, one pistol, two single barrel guns, two country made pistols, one air gun, one RPG ammunition, one hand grenade, five IEDs, one explosive PEK, three pumpis and some protective gear and hand sets were recovered.
The arms and ammunition recovered from Gothol village, on the other hand, include, one INSAS rifle with a magazine, one local made single barrel gun, five local made hand grenades, 25 empty cartridges, nine live rounds of ammunition, one binocular, two 9mm magazines and some protective gear.
