During the visit, Laitonjam Sanathoi said the houses including his were burnt by Kukis on July 11 in broad daylight in front of Central security forces.
Sanathoi said their houses were burnt despite repeated appeals to the Central security forces' per- sonnel to intervene.
People who attempted to enter the area and douse the fire were assaulted by the security forces, he said, accusing the Central forces of allowing 'Kuki miscreants' to burn the houses.
He urged the Government to identify and arrest all the perpetrators involved in the arson.
