IMPHAL, Jul 15: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh and others have greeted the people on the occasion of Kang (Rath Yatra).
"Kang is one of the most cherished festivals of Ma-nipur, reflecting the rich spiritual heritage and centuries-old cultural traditions. The sacred procession of Lord Jagannath along with Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra, symbolizes compassion, unity, humility and the triumph of righteousness.
"May this auspicious occasion inspire us all to work together with mutual respect, harmony and collec- tive responsibility in preserving our rich cultural legacy while fostering peace and understanding among all communities," said the Chief Minister in his message.
Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho, Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata Singh and Mayang Imphal AC MLA K Robindro Singh too greeted the people on the occasion.
