MABA to conduct refresher course for referees and judges

IMPHAL, Jul 17 : The Manipur Amateur Boxing Association (MABA) set to conduct “Refresher-cum-updation-cum-upgradation Courses” for Referees and Judges (RJ) on July 25 at Khuman Lampak Boxing Arena.
The courses are being planned in line with the forthcoming State Level Boxing Championships 2026 and to strengthen unity, co-operation and mutual understanding among inter-district technical officials/ referees and judges, said MABA in a press release.
The courses will also help streamline and enhance implementation of the World Boxing Technical and Competition Rules, it said while inviting all concerned to attend the courses without fail. The last date of entry is July 23, it said.
Individuals aspiring to become boxing referees and judges may register for the course and take advantage of the opportunity, it added.
