IMPHAL, Jul 18 : Security forces arrested a resident of Hengjol Village in Churachandpur along with 81 soap cases of brown sugar, today.
According to police, the arrestee has been identified as Mangkhanthang Kipgen (33).
Police said that one Mahindra Bolero bearing Manipur registration number was intercepted at Thing-kangphai in Churachandpur.
On searching, 81 soap cases of suspected brown sugar were found concealed inside the vehicle, it added.
Police also said that the arrested individual is suspected to be wanted in multiple NDPS cases of DRI
