IMPHAL, Jul 2: Joining “Chhatron Ki Goonj” campaign, the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has urged the Government to fix accountability over NEET paper leaks and streamline the conduct of the examination to prevent future controversies.
Speaking to reporters at MLA Th Lokeshwar's official residence at Babupara today, Congress leader P Sharatchandra said the Centre must hear the voices of the students  and punish the persons behind the recent NEET paper leaks.
Deeply disturbed by the leaks and re-examination of the NEET, several students have taken their own lives across India, presenting a grim picture of a failed education system, he said.
The campaign aims to mobilise students against what the Congress describes as systemic failures in the education sector, including alleged examination irregularities, question paper leaks, rising education costs and controversies surrounding competitive examinations such as NEET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
