NSCN (IM) clarifies

DIMAPUR, Jul 19 : The NSCN (IM) has clarified that it has no connection with the individuals reportedly detained by Indian security forces on July 14, 2026, in the Sharkaphung area under Litan Police Station in Ukhrul district.
In a statement, the NSCN (IM) identified the detained persons as Wungphayo Kasar (24), son of Yurthan Kasar; AS Ninglum (29), son of AS Hopeson; Yaoreingam Lungleng (24), son of Makanmi Lungleng; and Vareiyo Lungleng (56), son of Tuifa Lungleng.
The outfit stated that none of the individuals named are its members, associates or representatives.
